The day after the last game of the World Series is always a bit sad for me. It means no baseball until next spring. This year, the end of baseball was even more heartfelt. Astros came close as ever, but no cigar. Congrats to the NL champs on a great ride and an exciting postseason filled with record-breaking games. Kudos as well to the Chicago White Sox on their stellar year and Series victory.
As my friend Yuval says, one of the best things about baseball is that there’s always next year.
