“Nobody likes war”

Today’s NY Times features the article “Bush Defends Decisions on Iraq, but Concedes Public’s Unease.” From it I quote the President: ”Nobody likes war. It creates a sense of uncertainty in the country…War creates trauma.” The article then states “he acknowledged that Republicans are worried about their political standing in November.” I am enlightened. Why can’t we hear informative, constructive things about this war? Or out of his mouth in general? Always defensive, always elusive, always pretty much useless information.
