Anyone who grew up in the south, especially in Texas, knows about Blue Bell ice cream. “The best ice cream in the country,” goes their jingle. It’s my favorite (especially Country Vanilla). So I was pleasantly surprised to see an article in today’s New York Times about the creamery from Brenham, TX. I must warn you–reading it will make you really hungry for ice cream! Here in LA, where you can’t get Blue Bell, it’s especially frustrating. But it does remind me of home…
