That’s an incredible statistic. To think that cities are such a recent development in the scope of human history. Also this stat, which should make us stop to think: “A billion people, a sixth of the world’s population, already live in slums, 90 percent of them in developing countries.” One BILLION. 1,000,000,000 people. This is staggering in so many ways.
